So I finally got around to spending a day to make a bunch of freezer crock pot/freezer meals. I spent $60 for the supplies (produce, meat, spices, bags, etc.), and made roughly 30 meals for 2 out of that! On the menu was: BBQ Chicken, Chicken Taco Soup, Bean Soup, Lime Cilantro Chicken, Turkey Chili, Chicken Curry, Zucchini and Cheddar Turkey Burgers, Cheesy Potato Chicken, Turkey Meatballs and Tomato Sauce, Chicken Pot Pies, Mini Spinach Quiches, and Twice Baked Potatoes. Also ended up with leftover Salsa Verde, tomatoes, and tomatillos that I froze for later use.
This was the final result all laid out on my kitchen table!
Now, I won’t normally post “cooking” things, as my passion really is baking, but I was quite proud of finally accomplishing something I’d been wanting to try for a while, and wanted to share 🙂 I’ll try to get around to posting recipes/links to other blogs I got them from asap…just might not be right away 🙂
